We’re having a great Summer: We passed the 200,000 user mark, we passed the 30 million webplayer mark, we won the Develop Grand Prix, and we’re getting ready to ship Unity 3. To celebrate all this, we decided to throw a party.  For our blog readers who happen to find themselves in the SF bay area next week, why not join us for drinks after work on Tuesday the 24th of August?

  1. Lol Anyone Wanna buy me a ticket To SF?

  2. @Christian,

I meant the definition of “Shoot” that means “Darn.” No one’s getting violent Christian.

  3. @Daniel,
    Let’s not get violent.

  4. Shoot! I just called them and they said that the age limit was 21. Oh well.

  5. Ow c’mon !
    Give the guys some slack.
They just moved to a new location.

  6. @Natali Abbortini.

I totally agree with you. And the demo team doesn’t even have the Umbra Occlusion technology demo completed.

    @Christian,

I think that these guys are not going to ship anything “official” as a “stable” release, maybe next year close to spring time.

  8. Why do I live too far from civilization?? ouch!
Anyway, enjoy yourselves after such a hard work!

  9. Hmmm….. I am very tempted to take the train up there for this.

    Hmm….

  10. Sounds great though like Daniel being under 21 could get weird… computer nerds have a tendency to go wild after months of coding in small cubicles. :)

  11. Gosh I wish I could be there,
    I live unity so much.
It is the state of Art of a game Engine.
    Long live to the Cru!
    And welcome Unity 3!!!!

  12. I’d love to come! I’m just afraid that it might have a rule of no people allowed under the age of 18/21…

  13. @Christian,
Or at least another version of the beta ;)

  14. Wish I could be there! Have fun! You guys certainly deserve it after all the hard work.

  15. If I don’t say it, someone else will. Sounds like a party for finishing development on Unity 3D.
