Unity is an amazing place to work, fueled by equally amazing people! We hope you will enjoy getting to know our company and our staff a little better through the Faces of Unity blog series.

Each post in this series will spotlight an employee whose work plays an integral part in creating the engine you know and love. Whether they are an engineer, a product manager, an artist, or a marketer, get the scoop on the exciting projects they are working on, what brought them to Unity, and what inspires their work.

Sarah Stumbo is a Producer on the Made With Unity (MWU) team -  the group tasked with supporting external studios and organizations looking to produce high-quality content using Unity. From games to films, our MWU team partners with content developers across industries (like Neill Blomkamp) to help them realize their creative visions. Prior to being a Producer, Sarah was an Evangelist for Unity.

What does your day-to-day look like?

I have daily meetings with my team to discuss the status of current productions - other than that, there is never really one day that is the same. Some days I'll be building out production or marketing plans, while other days I'll be heads down involved with the creation process. Most days I am working with other creators, which I love.

What made you decide to work at Unity?

I knew real time technology would be the future of digital content - especially with new technologies like VR and AR growing so rapidly. I always loved Unity as a creation tool and used it before I worked here.

What cool projects have you worked/are you working on?

Last year I built a sample project for 360 video creators that lives on the Asset Store. Currently, I'm working on several projects with external teams that you will likely hear about later this year.

What is your favorite thing about Unity?

The people here are the best and many of my coworkers are also good friends.

Favorite video game?

I can't just pick one: on VR, my favorite game is Superhot VR; on mobile I love games with unique art styles like Monument Valley. Growing up, I played a lot of Nintendo 64, so Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart will always have a special place in my heart!

What would you tell someone considering a career at Unity?

If you are ready to learn a ton while building amazing things, then this is probably a good place for you. If you don't like learning or building cool things, then maybe not ;)
