Thank you for your feedback!

The amazing Brackeys is closing up shop. This team of legends is moving on to other endeavors, and we want to express our gratitude for their contributions to the Unity community. Thanks for inspiring a global legion of developers!

If you ever searched for “How to do x in Unity,” chances are you were directed to a tutorial by Brackeys on YouTube. Over the last eight years, Brackeys has created 460 tutorials that have been watched more than 127 million times! They hosted some of the largest game jams, attended industry events to connect with the gamedev community, and helped innumerable game developers get started on their learning journey.

In Brackeys’ latest video, the team shared the news that they were discontinuing the channel. Over the years, the team has shared feedback with us to help us improve the Unity engine, and they have been tireless advocates for accessible learning resources. They have participated in Unity events sleep-deprived and jet-lagged, but with the best of attitudes. In short, the entire Brackeys team put smiles on our faces in every meeting we had together.

Brackeys has many devoted followers and has inspired developers to produce their own tutorials. Sebastian Lague and Jabrils, among many other creators, stopped by the comment section of the last video to say their goodbyes and thanks. Sebastian says, “Thanks for the years of great content; doubtless the videos you’ve made will continue to help and inspire people for many more years to come.” And Jabrils notes, “He inspired many to not only start learning game dev but to make tutorials! Thank you, you Legend!”

Brackeys has been an incredible partner of Unity, and it’s been an honor to work with them over the years. Asbjørn, Andreas, Sofia, Thea and Jasper: Best of luck to you all, and thank you for being such an incredible crew to work with!

If Brackeys has inspired you or helped you along your game development journey, please share your Brackeys moment with us or show your appreciation in the comments below.
