We’re offering over 150 great reasons to help students get excited about learning.

Level up your Unity skills by pairing the free Unity Student license with a collection of A+ assets at 50% off. The Back to School 2020 offer is exclusively available to student users, and includes over 150 popular Unity Asset Store packages. You’ll find time-saving tools, art assets to help you realize your creative vision, and Editor add-ons to unlock efficient workflows.

For many, going back to school looks a lot different this year, so Unity has created and shared new tools to support learning. We’ve also unlocked our Learn Premium content to make these courses free to all, and we continue to offer a variety of fun templates and tutorials to help people get started in Unity. We want to support students on their creator journey and help them to access a rich job market with in-demand Unity skills – and have a lot of fun along the way.

The Unity Student plan gives students enrolled in accredited educational institutions free access to the real-time 3D development platform and workflows that professionals use to create immersive experiences for video games, AR/VR, TV and film, and more. This license now includes Bolt, an intuitive drag-and-drop visual scripting tool that lets you create logic for games or applications without writing a single line of code. For a limited time, we’re pairing this with a collection of free and half-price assets to help you unleash your creativity in Unity.

Here’s a small sample of what’s on the syllabus:

Game Creator – No experience? No problem. This powerful tool suite is jam-packed with features to help get your video game off the ground, including characters, cameras, and systems to help manage your variables and modules.

POLYGON – Dungeons Pack – Lock your game down with this one-and-done medieval art asset package. The comprehensive suite of low-poly 3D models includes 16 characters, modular environments, and themed props to get your game ready to go.

UMotion Pro – Animation Editor – Animate anything, right in Unity. The Animation Editor lets you create and fine-tune motion for 3D models without runtime components – perfect for creating in real-time. Features include inverse kinematics, Timeline integration, and support for Mocap and other third-party animation.

Peek – Streamline your workflow with this Editor add-on. It includes contextual toolbars, grouping and find-and-replace shortcuts, and a slew of other timesavers to make your creativity flow more smoothly.

UFPS: Ultimate FPS – Take aim at your first first-person shooter game with this battle-tested kinematic character controller. It comes with features like damage controllers, cameras, physics, and more, to support everyone from new recruits to grizzled game dev veterans.

Fantasy Adventure Environment – Set the scene for your project with a world’s worth of environment assets, complete with shaders, wind and sun shaft animations, and more kinds of trees, plants, rocks and foliage than you can shake a stick at.

EasyRoads3D Pro v3 – Hit the road faster with tools for creating road and pathway networks, including custom crossings and side objects like guard rails, fences, power lines, and treelines, plus terrain that conforms around your road.

The Illustrated Nature – Bring your world to life with stylized 3D nature assets, complete with shaders, image effects, animated vegetation, and scripts. Take it to the next level with clouds, fog, four color palettes and wintertime for year-round action.

Discover over 150 assets at 50% off, exclusively for Unity Student users at the Asset Store (plus a whole slew you can download for free, including Bolt). Not using the Unity Student plan? Sign up here to get started. This offer is valid only for current Unity Student plan users, and for anyone who signs up for the Unity Student Plan by September 30, 2020.
